October 21, 2009: Rhode Island Middle School Reports E. coli Outbreak

At least 15 students from Lincoln Middle School have been sickened after taking a field trip. A camp, located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, was the site where the illnesses originated. All of those affected reported having diarrhea. This comes after eating the food served at the camp between October 13 and October 16, 2009. Of the 15 students, two have test positive for E. coli O157:H7.
